Querido Blue Eyes:
No comprendo por qué no recibes mis cartas, con ésta son cuatro que te escribo en dos semanas.
Dime que quieres que te mande la Noche Buena, algo que te guste y te sea útil para que no me hagas lo que con aquella corbata verde que a mí me parecía tan bonita y que no quisiste.
En tus últimas cartas no me dices nada de tu papá. ¿Cómo ha seguido? ¿y Mary? A ella le escribí una carta que nunca me contestó.
También acá está haciendo muchísimo frío, hace por lo menos tres semanas que no se me calientan los pies, como recordarás siempre los he tenido muy fríos pero ahora están convertidos en nieve de limón.
No dejes de decirme qué quieres que te mande y cual es la forma más práctica de que lo recibas pronto. ¿Te gustarían unos calcetines de lana? Tal vez si es un paquete pequeño te lo pueda mandar por correo.
Ahora me estoy examinando en la escuela y cómo fin de año tengo además muchísimo trabajo. Y ahora, cuando vienen las vacaciones (del lo, al 10 de diciembre), no podré descansar, porque van a operar a Beto, ya sabes que en el invierno siempre se pone un poco mal.

I don't understand why you don't receive my letters, with this one that's four I've written you in two weeks.

Now I'm taking exams at school and at the end of the year I have a lot of work to do. And now, when the vacations come (from December 10th), I won't be able to rest, because Beto is going to be operated, you know that in the winter he always gets a little sick.
